Denver Christian High School uses the following standardized grading scale:
A 100 – 95
B 88–86
C 79–76
D 69–66
A- 94–92
B- 85–83
C- 75–73
D- 65–63
B+ 91–89
C+ 82–80
D+ 72–70
F below 63
Student achievement is best measured on an individual basis, not necessarily against static learning criteria. Denver Christian Schools prefers to focus on each student and the development and nurturing of their God-given gifts. The outcome of that focus is a very individual measure and result. The success in each student's gifts may indeed result in tangible rewards such as test scores, but it may also be in the spiritual growth and maturity that brings the ability to use their God-given gifts in whatever career they choose, regardless of test scores.
That being said, Denver Christian has a long-standing tradition of academic excellence, evidenced by outstanding test scores year after year.
