Dear Future Denver Christian Schools Parent,
Thank you for your interest in the Denver Christian Schools - Highlands Ranch Campus. Choosing the right school for your child is a very important decision. It is my prayer that you will find the right school to partner with your child, your church and your family. That is what happens at DCS. We partner with you in the education of your child. We work together as a team to educate your child in a way that honors and brings glory to God! That's what a Christian education partnership is all about!
At our school you will be part of our broader “family.” That is probably the number one comment I hear from our new families, “We feel like we are part of a larger family here!” We want to make you feel welcome and we love parents who are involved with the education of their child. We have many opportunities for involvement. Step inside the doors, feel the warmth, feel the enthusiasm!
As you shop around, the best advice I can give you is to ask lots of questions. Is our school accredited? Yes, by North Central Association and a larger association called Christian Schools International. Do we offer financial aid? Yes. We offer many options for financial assistance and scholarships. How is the curriculum developed? All of our teachers (K-12) are on curriculum study groups that choose and develop our curriculum. Are all our teachers certified? Yes. What if my child struggles in certain academic areas? We have academic support available at all grades. What if my child is gifted? Our teachers will work to meet all students at a level to challenge them. Are there extra-curricular activities available? Yes, and some grades offer more options than others. Do I need to be a member of a certain denomination? No! The Body of Christ is broad with many members! Remember we do want to partnership with you, so being a member of that Body of Christ is important to us.
It is our desire to partner with you in the training of your legacy to prepare them to go out into whatever area God calls them to. Our goal is to equip children to bring Christ to their world – His love and His transforming power. Our educational excellence and biblical perspective is aimed at that goal. If that is your desire as well, then we will make good partners.
