"Train up a child in the way he should go,
even when he is old he will not depart from it."

—Proverbs 22:6     Hands-on activities provide fun, challenging, active learning.

Our curriculum is designed around the interests of the children. We use a variety of curriculum to meet each child where they are in their development.  As children best learn through experiential learning, hands-on activities are available throughout the day.  As they experience their world, they witness that all things come from God.  Zoophonics is presented so children may experience pre-reading skills through their senses of feeling, sight, and hearing.

Daily preschool activities include Bible, art, phonics, math, science, music, creative play, language arts, and more.

Special Events & Activities

Grandparents Day, Operation Christmas Child, Poem in your Pocket, learning Math through Music, Spirit Week, Summer Birthday Bash, and more!

Safety Week:  A guest Police Officer came to visit with the children. The children brought their bikes to school and learned the rules of the road on their own bikes.

Native American Week:  We learned about Native Americans and pilgrims, how they lived together and gave thanks to our Lord.

100 Books:  In December we read 100 books in class, and Scholastic Book Club donated 100 books to needy children.

Fundraiser:  Children participated in a fundraiser that let them shop for loved ones, and earned money for new tricycles for our preschool.

Music:  Children played handbells for the Van Dellen Christmas program.

Cowboy Day:  We all learned about life as a cowboy on the ranch. The children dressed up like cowboys and cowgirls.  We even had a tasty Western snack that day!

Letters to our Friends: The children learned to write each others names for sending Valentines.

Telling The Gospel:  Children learned to tell the Gospel by making wordless books, and making their own Ressurrection Eggs at Easter time.

Creation:  We discover Gods creation up close by attending the Animal Fair, holding baby chicks, and having "Nightcrawler Day."

Mommy and Me:  Moms and Grandmas were invited to share in a special preschool time on "Mommy and Me Day."

Teddy Bear Picnic:  Teddy Bears were everywhere at our Teddy Bear Picnic! Children enjoy bringing their bears, counting with them, and a special Teddy Bear picnic treat!

Activities throughout the year: The children also make their own alphabet book, work with 1st and 5th grade "buddies" on "Reading Buddy Day," and participate in Preschool Field Day and Graduation.
